Lieutenant Colonel Geoff Matthews is currently posted to 3rd Health Support Battalion and is a member of the unit’s Specialist Advisory Group. Since becoming a member of the Army Reserves in 1996, he has held a variety of sub-unit Command appointments, and has deployed to Bougainville, East Timor and Pakistan. In his civilian role, he is the Director of Obstetrics at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
